Flux EZO Binding: From the Northern Lands of Japan to All Powder Enthusiasts

The Flux EZO Binding is born from a unique collaboration between riders Naohiro Yoshida and Yosuke Mino, also known as DKC, and the artistic vision of Oki, an artist with Ainu heritage. This special binding merges cutting-edge snowboarding technology with the rich cultural history of Japan’s northern regions, delivering a binding designed for powder lovers who crave performance in deep snow.

Inspired by Hokkaido’s rugged mountains and evolving snow conditions, the EZO features the versatile Free Foot (FF) system for enhanced freedom of movement and adaptability. The highback uses materials from the SR series, crafted specifically for powder riding, and is engineered to handle steep descents and varying snow hardness with ease. Its innovative design, which sets the lower side of the highback inward, allows for easier knee tucks and more fluid motion, keeping you agile as you navigate through deep powder.

HIGH BACK

Solid High back

A high back that is soft in the lateral direction, but stiff in the rear due to its round shape.

Super Tough Nylon Ver. 2.0

Soft flex material developed to expand the range of motion of the foot during powder riding.

Micro Adjuster

If you move it forward one memory, it will lean forward approximately 2.5 degrees. More detailed high back settings are possible.

BASE PLATE

Ultima Baseplate

A base plate with a FLAT ROCKER shape with rounded sides that allows for lateral movement.

Free Foot Blend

A special nylon blend developed for FREE FOOT. It is resistant to temperature changes, soft and sticky, yet highly durable, allowing for a free riding style similar to surfing.

Footon

Made of material that prevents snow from sticking even in harsh environments. While enjoying the direct feel of the soles of your feet, it also provides the cushioning required for riding.

Adjustable Toe & Heel Cushion

Movable cushion that allows adjustment of toe side and heel site to suit boot size and board width.

STRAP

Waffle Strap

A two-layer structure with a waffle cushion that provides a comfortable hold and ease of movement that you'll forget you're wearing it, and a Power Strap that transmits power directly.

Beer Buckle

A newly designed ratchet buckle that securely tightens until the last tightening. Comes with a bottle opener function so you don't have to worry about toasting.

FTM VER.5.0

In order to increase power transmission, the center line is made strong, and the upper and lower ends are made with a dedicated Transfer strap that has increased flexibility and a better fit with boots.

L-Guide

Store the belt smoothly to avoid getting caught in the snow during toe-side turns.

OTHERS

UU Fit

A system that wraps the boots from 360° by attaching a strap belt between the heel cup and the high back. This provides a natural holding feeling and equalization of pressure.

Multi Disc

Multi-disc that can be installed on either 4x4 or 2H. It is also possible to install it by shifting it by 5mm or 10mm from front to back or from side to side.
